The Story Behind Bloom

The idea of Bloom was planted in February 2022. After years spent working at other ABA agencies, founder Olivia Holt was ready for a change. After taking the leap, she embarked on a journey to create the type of program and atmosphere she'd been striving to be a part of throughout her career.

Intending to move away from the negative stigma sometimes associated with traditional ABA therapy, she has created a program with a more compassionate, gentle and naturalistic approach. Putting the core needs of the child first, Bloom is a client and family-driven path to building skills and strategies needed to live a more fulfilling life.

At our core, we believe children in need of extra supports are not missing anything, we just help provide the tools to flourish exactly as they are.

Olivia Holt

Olivia Holt has always had a desire to teach and help children. After graduating in 2014 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in early education, Olivia began her career as a preschool teacher. As she discovered her interest in finding out the “why” behind certain behaviors, she realized her skills and passion would be better suited in a slightly different direction. She received her RBT license in in 2018 and began work as a Registered Behavior Technician while continuing her education. In 2020, she received her Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis, paving the way for her to become a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).

Olivia resides in Excelsior Springs, MO. In her free time, she enjoys her 2 horses, reading, and being at the lake.
